African Gist is an organisation supporting young professionals and entrepreneurs from Africa and its diaspora using digital tools to grow their skills and boost their career or business. We believe nobody is too small to start, therefore, we help young professionals, organisations and small enterprises understand and develop their digital skills to support their professional, entrepreneurship and business ambitions.
With a network of 2100 youths and experts across the World, African gist has a database of experts in digital, marketing and business fields having between 5 and 20 years of experience. These experts have an understanding of Bothe European and African realities and are willing to offer their skills to empower local small enterprises, organisations and entrepreneurs through workshops.
In 2018, African Gist launched Get Sh*t Done, a series of participatory training hosted in different African and European cities. Because we know how costly and hard it can be to attend quality professionals training, Get Sh!t Done was designed for young professionals and early-stage entrepreneurs willing to get specific learning from industry experts, entrepreneurs and high-level personalities. Limited seats, a cosy and relaxed atmosphere, this is how we believe knowledge is best shared. If you can’t get where the experts are, we will bring them to you.
